The BBC series Green Planet, for which I filmed multiple sequences across the series has won some major awards in the last few weeks; Best Series at Jackson Wild and Wildscreen (the world’s two most significant natural history film festivals), it was also nominated for Best Cinematography in both festivals.
In the last two days we have also won the Televisual Bulldog Award for cinematography and the highly prestigious Grierson Award for best Natural History documentary.
A testament to the hard work of all the people involved; scientists, producers, researchers, editors, cinematographers, production teams all combining to tell amazing stories about plants!
